According to City Ordinance 14.14.024 Materials that may not be burned without approval include; rubbish or garbage including but not limited to food wastes, food wraps, packaging, animal carcasses, paint or painted materials, furniture, composite shingles, construction or demolition debris or other household or business wastes, waste oil or other oily wastes, asphalt and products containing asphalt, treated or painted wood, any plastic material, rubber, and any paper materials.
The only thing that is permitted to be burned in the City of Whitehall is untreated wood inside a campfire ring.
