It is the responsibility of all persons who own or occupy any building or parcel in the City of Whitehall to have snow and ice removed from sidewalks within twenty-four (24) hours from the time the snow or ice ceases to accumulate on the sidewalk. Special care should be given to remove snow/ice from the curb and ramped areas of sidewalks, to allow access onto the sidewalk by those with a handicap.
