The City of Whitehall is accepting applications from qualified applicants to fill a full-time vacancy for the position of: Police Officer due to a retirement.
The position requires a high school diploma and an associate degree, or 60 associate degree level credits or higher from an accredited college or university. A candidate that is certifiable or certified with training standards is preferred.
The successful candidate must hold a valid Wisconsin driver’s license; and be able to pass a pre-employment physical, drug screening, background check and psychological evaluation.
The City of Whitehall provides a comprehensive benefit package including Wisconsin State Retirement, State of Wisconsin Group Health Insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, accident insurance, deferred compensation, clothing allowance, paid holidays, vacation, and sick leave. The starting wage range is $28.20 to $31.20 per hour.
